The comfort level of these headphones is very good, it took a month or two to break them in and after that, they sit on my head and i never feel the need to adjust them. Over the hot summer, i did take them off and have sweaty cups, but that just wiped off. They are light enough not to dig into your head and as they have a cushion they feel very comfortable. Treble is surprisingly crisp, far more than is on display in other Skullcandy headphones I’ve used. This treble is responsible for quite a lot of the Hesh 3’s energy; the sound isled by the treble and bass, not just the low-end.

If you rather not take a risk on the build quality, I would recommend going for the Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless instead. Other than the battery life (15hr vs 22hr) and aesthetics, the Skullcandy Hesh 2 is pretty much similar to the Hesh 3 except with a more stable frame. Vocals (especially female) are very sweet sounding to the ears as the treble causes it to sound airy and detailed. However, more bass could have been “injected” into the headphones to make the sound signature more energetic.

Zooming into the midrange, the mids are slightly more recessed than the lower mids and upper mids. It has a tinge of warmth but it leans more towards the brighter end (detailed sound). For the money, the Skullcandy Hesh 3 are great over-ear wireless headphones for the price. You won’t find any fancy features like multipoint pairing or noise cancellation but Skullcandy's wireless headphone really nails the basics. The soft, well-padded pad that sits between the top of your head and the headband somehow feels bigger than its actual below-average size. They seem to be holding up very nicely and every so often I will wipe them down with a baby wipe to keep them clean.The Hesh 3 was tested with my iPhone 7+ via the wireless connection. The Hesh 3 carries a V-shaped sound signature with a slightly more forward midbass, leaning towards treble and technical issues due to its treble performance, which I’ll go into below. If you’ve got small ears then this is unlikely to be a problem. This is one instance when it might be wise to try before you buy. Another nice feature is being able to touch a button on the side of the headphones and answer your phone. I have even answered my phone with it 20 ft away from me and still was able to hold a conversation as if I was holding my phone.
